Stereotypes for Notes and Constraints
« on: April 15, 2005, 01:38:49 am »
While this isn't strictly UML, I feel it would be really useful to be able to apply stereotypes to both Notes and Constraints.  That way, one could use the existing stereotype adornment functionality to adorn the different types of notes and constraints automagically and consistently!

BTW Thomas - this _is_ an enhancement request :)

While we're at it, all other non UML elements in EA should have this feature... 8)

You bet me. My only concern: There is a special part "Suggestions and Request" where you should post ;)

Select the note, open the Properties window (Alt+1), enter a value in the Stereotype field and press Enter.

Thanks,

But why doesn't double clicking the note make these properties visible? ???

As others have said in numerous posts this business of properties and properties and properties is VERY CONFUSING. :'(

As a user how can I tell the properties that are properties from the properties that aren't properties?  ::)

If you look at why I was asking for the feature and actually try do what I was attempting, you would find that "Note" is not an available option on the drop-down list of available base classes for stereotype adornment (but curiously enough - "Constraint" is).

So, I STILL can't apply specific adornments to Notes via Stereotypes. :'(
