RTF doc - include other packages elements
« on: May 23, 2005, 04:39:34 am »
Hi,

I am new to EA but I have used other CASE tools -

I am looking to produce a set of documentation from the model that includes a decomposition of a class diagram that contains elelments from various packages.

I am using the new RTF editor in EA 5.0, but I am struggling with how the generator iterates and particularly what the sections refer to in the new RTF style templates.

Thanks for any help

I am also struggling somewhat with the new interface for the RTF style templates.

A more detailed explanation of things would be greatly appreciated.

Another suggestion might be to include more document examples to play around with so we can figure it out better.

OK I have used the legacy document generator and used the Document linked Elements in the options to achieve what I am wanting....  But it produces each of the classes twice?

Also is this same facility available int the new RTF generator?

A feature of the old RTF generator was the Option: [] Document linked Elements.  This is yet to be implemented in the new RTF reports, but hopefully should be available in the near future.
