Can EA 4.5 and 5 co-exist?

Can EA 4.5 and 5.0 co-exist on the same system?  I ask because I would like to evaluate 5.0 before I take the plunge.

They are not designed to co-exist, but there has been some discussion here about doing it.  So try a search (and remember to set the max age to longer than 7 days)

I asked this a long time ago and it has been changed: can you (again) simply remove the 7 so one has to explicitly type the age? Too many newbies fall in that trap over and over

Don't remove it - set it to 999.
Then if you want less you can change it, but presumably you know what you want by then.
