View element details from Relationship Matrix?

Anyone know of a way to view the details of elements displayed in the Relationship Matrix.

When I'm trying to build up relationships between customer requirements and the derived Use Cases and non-functional requirements its pretty frustrating to have to keep switching back and forth to check on the text of requirements and elements.

I once asked for such a feature out of the context menu - no luck. You can view the properties if a relation already exist (right click on the box connecting the two elements).

Darnit...using the relationship matrix is hugely frustrating at the moment without being able to see the details of the things you're trying to create relationships between.

The relationship matrix is also bugged because if you dont actually left click to select a cell it won't let you create the relationship...clickity click all the time.

Finally I REALLY would like to be able to include the relationship matrix in the HTML output of my model. Traceability is a key issue for MDD and a single screen that shows all the coverage would be really cool. Currently it requires screen grabs and manual HTML page creation which is a bit of a pain.

Please, please (*begs*) please Sparx could you enhance this tool to make it truly useful.

Put in a formal request to the support address.  there are a pile of issues with the relationship matrix - which (potentially) is one of the most useful features of EA.

RobH, as you've suggested, its just a different syntax to the semantics of managing relationships.  The Sparxians don't seem to have realised that.

As an aside, under UML 2 (finally) you can have relationships between connectors -which the matrix don't go anywhere near.
