Locate objects that link to a requirement
« on: July 04, 2005, 05:54:01 pm »
I might be missing something but it seeI can't find anyway to locate all objects that have linked to an external requirement.

I know I can do this using the relationship matrix but it is very awkward to navigate to objects from this; and it is difficult to see many requirements/objects at once.

Hi,
you have two options:

1. locate the object in the project browser and choose "Usage" in context menu...

2. open "view" -> "other windows" -> "Realationships"

you can see in both windows all current realationships....

Unfortunlatey this doesn't work for external requirements unless they are actually on the particular diagrams; which surprised me considering they are actually implemented as realisation links.

2. open "view" -> "other windows" -> "Realationships"

you can see in both windows all current realationships....

This method however works, Thanks.

I would also suggest using the 'Hierarchy' view, it is also in other windows.
