How to display embedded element in sub-machine?
« on: July 07, 2005, 04:13:41 am »
Hello.

I have a state-chart and add a sub-machine to it. Then I add a embedded element (say an Exit Point) to the submachine. The Exit Point is displayed on the border of the sub-machine.

Then I go to the diagram of the sub-machine.

How can I display  the formentioned Exit Point on the diagram of the sub-machine?

When I try to drag-and-drop the Exit Point to the diagram a error-message pops up.

Thank you.

You could try this: open the submachine diagram, drag the state onto its own diagram and resize it so it covers the whole page, right-click "Features | Embedded Elements" to pick which embedded elements to show, then right-click "Selectable" to turn the state into "background".
