Hiding package prefix on classes in sequence diag.
« on: April 06, 2005, 08:40:28 am »
Hi all,

I have some long class names and long package names and it makes for superlong sequence diagrams -- any idea which option I have to select to hide the package prefix? E.g.

formhandler::ExportOptionsFormHandler

I want it to be just 'ExportOptionsFormHandler'.

thanks!
Julian

Hello Julian,

Please uncheck 'Highlight Foreign Objects' checkbox in
property dialog of the sequence diagram.

Great! thanks... I find that display options box confusing most of the time... 'foreign objects'?? Since when was a package a foreign object... I tried various combinations but that one never occurred to me.

thanks!

:)

I can't get package spec hiding to work.

Here's what i do:
I drop a class from the toolbox (or my resource view) on my composite structure diagram called "manage changes".
The class "stuff" gets created under the diagram and shows up on the diagram as "manage changes::stuff".

Now I could drag the class a level higher in the project view,
but it's anoying to do this for each element I create.

Tried unchecking "highlight foreign objects" on he diagram,
but the package identifier remains on the screen.

Help!
