Attributes/Operations for Use Cases
« on: August 31, 2005, 04:55:25 am »
By coincidence I found out that Use Cases, when placed in a diagram, have a context menu entry Features and thereunder Attributes/Operations (not available in the Project View, though that is another UI topic ;D). F9/F10 are also available (sic!). Now my simple question: what is the meaning of Attributes/Operations for a Use Case ???

Thomas,

I think you'll find there is no such beast as an Attribute or Operation (Features) of a UseCase.  It's just part of EA's UI (Unique Interface)

I wouldn't use them.  On the other hand, I would use the same functionality for the Association Lozenge (which is in line with my assertion that the Lozenge is the AssociationClass.

Funny, there is nothing with the lozenge :) Maybe they mixed something up at Sparx?

Sorry,  I was playing around with things in the background DB.  I changed the Lozenge to a Class ionising the Element menu.  This gave me access to the Features.  I then reset the t_object type back to Association.

Disregard my comments...  (except to note that the Features are preserved....)
