Toolbox not Hiding after select of tool

I have the toolbox down the left hand side of my window and i have it set to auto hide so i have the max screen available for the diagram.

The problem i have found is that after i select a object from the toolbox i want it to then hide the toolbox either straight away or after my mouse moves of the toolbox on to the diagram but it doesn't seem to do this.

The reason that i want this is what if i need to draw a link between two objects that are beneath the toolbox i can't click on one of then to start the link.  I have to select the icon to not do auto hide on the toolbox and then select it again to switch it back on..then it hides.

Or am i missing a setting or somthing?

Yes i have this clicked so it does auto hide the menu.  But the problem i have is that even though i have it set to auto hide it doesn't automatically hide either after i select a object from the list or mouse has moved of the toolbox.  It will only hide once i click on the diagram to draw the object.  But if i want to draw the object somwhere down the left hand side of the digram i can't because it is hidden under the toolbox.  So i have to fiddle to get it to auto hide.

I think this functionality may need to be added in a future release.

Hi Carl,

the toolbox closes with delay. Hold the selected object with the mouse until the toolbox closes.

Mine doesn't seem to do that.  

I'm using version 5.00.769 Corporate Edition.

Once you click into an autohide window it freezes until you click into another one. If you hover over it, it automatically hides when the focus is lost. I guess this is WINDOWS behaviour.
