Tools/Project Transfer not working

I have EA Corporate version 817. I just built a database called basemodel in MySQl. I checked and all the tables seem to be there. I could query the tables in MySql Query Analyzer. I then created and ODBC connection. I used the ODBC connection to connect to the database in Microsoft Access. It created a link to all of the tables. So, everything looks good to go.

I went into EA and selected Tools/Data Management/Project Transfer. I selected .EAP to DBMS. I selected a source project .EAP file for the source. I selected my basemodel data source for the Target. Pressing Test Connection is successful. When I select transfer, it quickly pops up - Could not open target database.

One thing I noticed is that it does not remember my selected ODBC connection. Every time I go in, the target data source name is blank.

Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong? Could it be that I need to update MDAC? I checked and I have MDAC 2.8 SP1. Any help would be great.
