Breaking up large diagrams

When a diagram gets too large I like to break it into multiple diagrams so they all print on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper.  What is the best way to show the fact that more information is available on another diagram?  How can the diagrams be linked together so you can navigate the entire model?  Is there a consistent way to do it for all diagram types?  (Use Case, Communications, Class, and Sequence diagrams).
