Where is the painter tool? I can't copy appearance because I can't find this tool that I used to use.

Hi,
I just went through a bug report and found the reason. The painter symbol in the top task bar is "Apply Style" from the Format Tool. The painter is in the Diagram toolbar. Both have the same appearance

I think we have a bug there. My format tool does not appear even I check/uncheck/check again in the View/Toolbar menu.

I found it. The thing is that the format toolbar appears in the down side of the screen.
We indeed have there the painter tool but is not running at least as used to work in the 5 version.
I used to Appearence/Copy Appearance to Painter the element I want to copy to and then apply the Painter tool to the element chosen.
Maybe am I am using the wrong procedure?

What does the quick help say, when you hover over the icon?

By the way, this procedure works well in EA 5.

Apply Style is the wrong Icon! Activate the Diagram Toolbar (uncheck/check to see which is the right one). It also contains a Painter telling "Paste Appearance" which is the one you need.

This is under investigation at Sparx.

The rigth icon is "Paste Appearence".
