database engineering: setting type

Hi,

I'm trying to design a database. When I create a table and edit the columns, I cannot set the Data Type. In the help file I see that there is supposed to be a Database Datatypes menu. Perhaps I need to set the database type here for the Data Type to work? However, like many of the screens in the help menu, it is impossible to find in the application.

Perhaps you can help me here. I also suggest making sure the way to access screens described in the help file is defined properly. EA is a bit of a maze.

Found it. Edit screen for the table object contains a database selection dropdown.
