Baselines and Differencing
« on: November 24, 2005, 11:50:40 am »
I've just been playing with baselines and aren't sure if I'm doing anytning wrong.  I create a baseline of a package, then go to manage baselines and click show differences.   Despite the fact that nothing in the package has changed, there are loads of differences shown.  The same is true if I create two baselines, select them and view the differences.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing, please?

Thanks

Sean

Hi Sean

The compare utility shows all the contents of the selected package. On the left hand side of the compare utility view only changed/added/deleted elements will have a status shown. In my environment it works fine with build 778 as well as 780.
However I'm missing the option "show changed items" or similar that used to be available in EA 5.0.
Perhaps someone can answer this question at the same time  :o
