Linking to other documents in EA - Please help

I have an activity diagram which has links to other documents.  I am looking for the links (or some indicator) to appear in the diagram that shows the activity box is linked to other supporting documents.  Does anyone know how to do this?

While we're on this topic, I'd like to know how to link to MS Word documents and how to include Math Type images in the Note areas.

Thanks for your reply.  I would like to link to both EA diagrams and MS Word documents.  Also, other documents that may pertain to the flow chart such as Excel spreadsheets, etc.

Hi Sarah,

For hyperlinks between diagrams:

1.  Open the model, where you want the hyperlink
2.  Draw they the model which as hyperlink to be put down  from the project view into the opened model by drag and drop
3. In the selection menu select select hyperlink

For hyperlinks between diagrams and documents:

1. Use a normal hyperlink.  The documents are always started with the correct applications.The hyperlink consists of the path to the document.

For Math I only can recommend TeX. You could put simple TeX inside the notes and compile it via automation.

Linking to Word can be accomplished via the Files Tab.
