ODBC: ORACLE reverse engineering
« on: February 20, 2006, 02:49:00 pm »
Hi there,

I am attempting to reverse engineer an oracle schema and I get "Unable to Obtain Table Information".  The ODBC connection works fine and the "Test Connection" ODBC passes.

Anybody encountered this issue before?
Great Thanks,
JC

i did.  it solved itself somehow after i did the following - i am not sure of the specific thing that helped.  i changed the path so that the oracle bin was included.  note, i needed to start EA.  also, i noticed that the odbc connector silently included ".world" to the end of my tnsnames entry, but that did not occur within EA.
