UML Project Manager or Business Analyst Job Posts
« on: March 16, 2006, 08:38:59 am »
Hi all,

I wonder if anybody can help.  I’m currently looking for job posts within the UK, not that interested where, as I am a contractor.  I have had a bad experience with one or two agencies, so I tend not to use them any more.  But if some fellow PMs/BAs can help, I would be much obliged.

Regards,

Hi,

not sure if this is the right place for this... anyway, if you are a contractor, you should check out PCG (Professional Contractor's Group) at www.pcg.org.uk. You are also probably familiar with www.jobsite.co.uk, www.monster.co.uk and www.dartjobs.co.uk - all of these are full of PM and BA jobs, the market is rather busy. Of course as a PM you should be Prince 2 certified, and BA jobs are heavily industry specific.

Hi

Thanks Bruno, yes I am a contractor, I am PRINCE 2 certified as well.  I have used Monster before, but have pretty much been forced to go through agencies.  Most of which are not helpful and really are more interested in making money for themselves rather than thinking about the positions they place me into.  I will try your resources, thanks again.  If you think of anything else, please post it.

Thanks

Hi,

this forum is meant for EA/UML related topics and is not a best place to discuss this. Feel free to contact me via e-mail (see my profile) and I will send you a few pointers.
