interface or <<interface>>class

Perhaps a 'stupid question':  ;D

A Class stereotyped <<interface>> appearantly 'behaves' a little different from an Interface (which appears to me as a stereotyped Class).

E.g.:
I cannot change the notation into a circle for the stereotyped Class. And, changing the default background colour for a stereotyped <<interface>> Class does not effect 'real' Interfaces.

So I conclude that the Interface and the Class are distinct element. So far, so good....

However in the  stereotypes dialog (Settings-UML-Stereotypes) there is no baseclass 'interface'.

Type "interface" (without quotes) in the base class filed. That works.
