Object not Object
« on: May 17, 2006, 10:53:35 pm »
If I drag an Object off the Requirements or Maintenance Toolbox folders, I get an Entity EA element.

If I drag an Object off the Communication or State or Activity Toolbox folders, I get an Object EA element.

Why?

And it's certainly in contradiction to the help file!

What is an "Entity" element anyway???  Has the analysis stereotype been granted permanent resident status in UML 2.0?

I don't really know what this particular "Entity" beast is but I think it's been sitting in the Custom toolbox for ever. In the code it's referred to as an ERObject if that helps spread any light?

It's a bit surprising the Object tool from the bottom three toolboxes creating Entity elements, but I've now fixed it to create Objects instead. Entity stays in the Custom toolbox in case there's anyone out there still using it.
