Error importing ddl schema in 6.1

Receiving an error when trying to import DDL from ODBC source. ODBC connection is fine and get list of tables to select from but after selecting one or more tables and clicking on ok get popup with indecipherable message (long string of boxes only- no text.). No tables are imported into my diagram.

This works fine in 3.51 version I was using previously with same ODBC connection.

Currently on 6.1.787

When is 6.5 due for release?

I am getting the same error but am connecting to SQL Server. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I am on version 6.1.790
