"geometry" of custom lines not kept when
« on: July 05, 2006, 12:27:36 am »
Hi,

when I import XMI that has been exported to XMI, the geometry of the "custom line"s is not retained.
The lines are converted to direct or auto routing.

Is there a workaround for this?

gert.

I am aware of an issue where EA would do this when using the "Strip GUID's" option during import.  If that's your problem then not using strip guids should work and it will be fixed in 6.5.

Simon,

This problem actually appears when I am using MKS as version control through SCC.
Than the get package option messes things up.  Is the "Strip GUID" option set when using SCC?  and if so, can this be changed?

Any clue on release dates for the 6.5?
