Copying diagrams from one EAP to another
« on: July 10, 2006, 05:10:53 am »
Hello,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I was wondering if it was possible to copy Use cases, Functional requirements etc. from 1 EAP file to another EAP file? If so how do I go about doing this?

You can do this on a package-by-package basis. Take a look at the Import Package (to / from) XMI File functions on the Project menu ,or from the context menu of a selected package in the project tree.

Look these up in the documentation. From there, once you've experimented a bit, take a look at controlled packages.

Note that you need to take a few moments to think through the implications of keeping or regenerating the GUIDs for the copied items. I'll leave you to figure this out on your own.

No, you can't have it!
