displaying alias of a package
« on: July 17, 2006, 12:49:54 pm »
In a class diagram, I have packages which have alias entries.  I enable the "use alias if available" property of the diagram and the package shows the alias and the package name separated by 2 boxes (ostensibly undisplayable characters).

Any way to get rid of these?

Thanks,

There might be a CR/LF inside. Try clearing and retyping...

If that does not work make sure you have Unicode support set up. [This might always be the default in EA now, but the symptoms would fit display of some Unicode whitespace in a non-Unicode setting.]
No, you can't have it!

Unicode seems to be related to code generation.  I see these boxes in the diagram on the screen.

I`m having exactly the same problem, have you managed to fix this?
Not only do I get this with the package alias/name but the elements listed inside the package on the diagram.

When I go into the package and look at the elements there they are shown correctly with the alias and name so its not something that's been typed in.
