Anyway to get rid of the Start Page

Is there a way not to load the start page when EA starts?

You can designate a diagram in a model as the default. When you next open your project this diagram will be open and activated.

However, this will not affect new projects, nor will it handle the case when EA is opened from the menu rather than a file. In any case I do not think this removes the start page (I'm not sure since I do not use this option), but only adds and activates the diagram.

You can customize the start page a bit. Take a look at the "My Profile..." link at the very top of the start page. This won't solve your problem but it might make it easier to live with.

What else would you like to see?

If you add the project to the shortcut ("C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\EA\EA.exe"  C:\temp\temp.EAP) and if the project has a default Model (Set as Model Default from the Diagram menu), then when you open EA, you will be taken directly to the default model of your project, thus bypassing Start Page.

Which brings us back to what I was saying...

Your second "if" is the weakness. A new project will not have a default, leaving the user stuck with the start page.

Personally, I don't find this to be a problem. However, without a stated context I am assuming the original poster wanted to have a blank work area or something. I'm attempting not to express an opinion regarding the idea, but rather to answer the question asked.
