EA 6.5 beta period

How long is the EA6.5 beta period planned to last? Will there be multiple beta versions?  

The spec. looks really very interesting but I'd rather not experiment with beta sw. right now.

Based on the beta periods of earlier versions it won't be very long before the product is released - however past performance is not a guarantee for the future.

From my personal impressions of past betas:

Anticipate 2-3 beta releases minimum. There might be skipped build numbers due to internal releases - there were 2 skipped builds between the last production version of 6.1 and the first beta of 6.5.

Total time is anything from a few weeks to 2-3 months. This is a big change so I'd not expect the shorter time.
