Import XML-Schema (again)

I'm receiving XML-Schemas and imports these in EA in order to create diagrams for different purposes. Whenever i recieve a new version of an existing schema-file in wants to reload it. I can only do this by import the schema-file again, but this does not owerwrite the existing but instead generate a new package with the same name. But when i delete the old package i am also deleting all the references to the existing diagrams.

Does any know an approach there will do the trick ?
