Is the SysML profile for EA available? Where could I find it?

Thank you very much!

Good question. It was announced with the Nov 2005 newsletter, but it's obviously not in the Resources page ???

So ::)... does it mean Sparx will publish that soon (well, if so, the point is when ???) or...
Otherwise, we have to creat totally new one by ourself. :(

We're hard at work on a SysML profile but we won't be able to release it until EA 6.5 comes out since there are a few places where the profile depends on new features only available in 6.5.

Now your next question is probably "so when is EA 6.5 due for release?" Sorry, I have no information on release dates, but I'll ask if I'm allowed to leak a guestimate...

Nothing really to add. Other than my support for getting SysML into the product. I understand that it should be in 6.5 and you do not have a projected date. One more egar supporter of your product.

We're trying SysML plug-in for EA v6.5 and it's good for only 30 days.  We're thinking of actually using it for a small project, as a head-start, instead of using EA's custom requirement model element.  How do we keep using SysML plug-in past the 30-day trial period?  Do we buy the plug-in although it's still in beta.  All we need really is to use a requirement model element that's more in keeping with the standard.  Or, perhaps, we should stick to 6.1 and use the custom requirement model element and, hopefully, it will be a simple operation with the new production release of v6.5 to convert the EA requirement to SysML requirement model elements.  Which way should we go? ???

Ask Sparx Sales. They can probably provide you with a prolongation if you can argue good enough.
