Author Topic: Can't Start EA (Read 2462 times)

This is very strange and I'm hoping somebody here can help me out.

I have Windows XP SP2. Brand new install. I downloaded EA 6.1 729 and installed it.

Everything is fine, it starts up ok. The start page comes up, but when I select "new project" the program just closes!!!!

It can't even open the Example.eap file. It just closes with no error messages.

I'm hopeing somebody else has this problem and hopefully can help me out to fix it. if not I hope to raise some awareness. Please help!!!

Try (if you can) a bug report from EA help menu.
And I would try to uninstall EA completely and reinstall it again. You may also try installation in VirtualPC or so.

Current release is 795 or so. Can you try to upgrade?

I thing it is just mistyping 729 => 792
