More confusion
« on: October 11, 2006, 08:31:51 am »
Hi

I just created a simple project selecting the options to include requirements, use cases, maintenance and user interface sections.

To my astonishment, I expand the resulting project tree and see that the "Functional Requirements" folder contains a "User Interface" folder which contains a thing called "Screen1".

However the main "User Interface Model" folder contains a "Primary Forms" folder which in turn contains a thing called Screen1, however this is DIFFERENT to the other Screen! (they have different controls).

This is another example of where this product causes me immense confusion, and acts in a very non-intuitive manner.

Surely it makes great sense to have a SINGLE repository/folder that contains screen designs? and have other sections simply link to these if they wish to refer to them?

AS it stands now I need to either delete on of these screens or even folders, OR maintain two copies of a screen and esnure they are always identical.

I may be naive but this is another example of where the tool needs improvement because this is confusing.
