EAP and CVS out of sync - what then?

What happens if the XMI genereted when configuring a package for CVS and the EAP repository for some reason get out of sync?

Is the dialog asking whether to keep project as is (i.e. load from EAP) or load from XMI (choose CVS-version of package) always displayed?
