Document generation
« on: November 08, 2006, 08:57:57 am »
Hi,
I really need help about the document generation feature. I have a model with a lot of packages and sub packages.

I want to be able to select a package and generate report from this package and include only 3 sub packages level. I'm only able to generate report with all subpackages.

Any help will be appreciated

I don't think you can limit the depth of package drill-down, at least not the way you want to. You might be able to do something like this in individual cases with a document element or artifact.

If I'm correct about this not being part of EA - please correct me if I am off base here folks - then this sounds like a nice feature request.

What say, all?
No, you can't have it!

You can exclude individual package(s) from RTF generation.
Context menu in Project Browser - Documentation - RTF Report Options ...

This is not exactly what you are looking for, but it may help if you have only a few deep nested packages.

Yeah, i just found this feature.
For sure I can do my things with this but it means that I have to do a little manipulation before generating document and it's not ideal.

Thank for your help
