How set db table data type ? (EA Corp Ed 6.5.800)
« on: December 15, 2006, 12:04:36 am »

I can set default database under
<menu>->Settings->Database Datatypes->(set as default)

But every time I return the dropdown does not show last selected default database and the checkbox is unmarked.

When I drop a table in a fresh diagram, I need to set the data types for columns. But when I on a table go:

properties->table details->column/attributes->(Data type) the is just no data types (varchar, number,..) dropdown to select from?!

?

Hi Stig,

Check the Default Database as defined in: Tools|Options|Source Code Engineering|Code Editors|DDL.  Is this the same value you set by the other means?  If NOT, set it here...

If it already is the same, then I can't help you...
