Connector Synchronization
« on: January 01, 2007, 12:55:02 am »
I have a set of PIM classes and transformed them to PSM classes. Whenever I delete a connector such as an association between two of my PIM classes and transform them again to PSM classes,  the corresponding connector in my PSM classes was not automatically removed. I have to remove it manually. Is this a default behavior? Or there is something I miss in my model transformation script? Please advise...

First, be sure you deleted the connector from the PIM model, and not just the diagram. Take a look at the Link tab of either of the PIM classes to be sure the connector is really gone, and not just hidden.

[There is a setting somewhere to control the default for connector deletion, but I don't remember where off hand.]

If the connector is really gone, try reloading your model - you can do this through the File menu, or with the control-shift-F11 shortcut.

If the connector is really gone, and the problem persists, I suspect this is a bug. File a report with Sparx. You can do this from within your EA session via Help | On-line Resources | Bug Report Page.
No, you can't have it!

Transforms don't remove elements or connectors created in previous transforms.
