Auto-arrange diagram when importing code
« on: October 31, 2002, 06:19:14 am »
Hi,

Is there some way to automatically arrange the diagram when one imports a hundred classes from source code (just like those graph packages at http://www.yworks.com/en/products_yfiles_practicalinfo_gallery.htm) ?

Dude, doesn't look like you had much of a response here. :( I've got the same problem after importing a data model schema. Have you discovered a way to automatically rearrange despite of the non-response to this post?

Can't verify this at the moment, but wasn't there an option to auto-layout after the import?
Edit:Hmm. This post is dated from 2002. Have I been on the board that time? Guess not...

Ahhh, I see (sez the blind man!). The term was 'Autolayout'. Thanks TK. Used that for a search in EA Help and what do you know? It's there in lots of detail. (Mental note to self - do a search on forum search engine and also in EA Help).
