Thanks for your comments.

Ill ensure the help is updated for build 801.

In the next build (801), if you have a hierarchy and nundering on a heading it will appear like the following.
1. Pacakge 1
 1.1 Element 1
 1.2 Package 2
   1.2.1 Element 2
2. Package 3
 2.1 Element 3

(NOTE - No overrides were used)

To add to the documentation issues/requests...

Some more thorough explanation, in particular, of the RTF Document Options' "Adjust Heading Levels" feature, and how it actually interacts with "Heading N" styles applied within the template, would be extremely helpful to our efforts to produce .  I think, in spite of the lack of documentation clarity, I've managed to figure out how this works, but it took a lot of testing and tinkering to do so...

Thanks!

I've just taken a look at the latest build (802) help file and still don't see any additions we've been discussing.

I'll try to play with lists and overrides some but it would be a guessing game yet again... ???

Intendation now seems to work quite well (built 802) :)
Still some problems remain :( :
a) when adding the diagram note after diagram.image, .figure, .name in the rtf-editor, the report ends after the first diagram (same thing with child diagram of element)
b) guard conditions of control flows do not appear in report, when condition of connector is chosen in template editor

I'll rise an issue at sparxsystems when someone else encounters the same problems
Cheers, Christoph

Thanks for your explanation Alistair - but does this work with Word figure numbers?  What I need to be able to do is embed an RTF report in a Word document that has existing figures in it, such that Word can re-number the EA figures when you update fields in the document.  So the generator needs to be able to create Word field codes I think.  There seems to be some features in the RTF editor/generator which get close to providing this, but I couldn't ever get Word Figure numbering to work with it.

regards,
Martin.

I've got a similar issue to this.  I want to be able to embed the RTF output into an existing word document, and for the figure numbers to work themselves out. Moreover, I need the figures to appear in a "table of figures" that is maintained in the word document.
