Information Realised On A Message (Sequence Diag)

Hi all,
 I have a sequence diagram where the actor that initiates the sequence is dragged from an _Essential_ use case.  It sends a message to initiate a processing chain.  The message advanced properties has Information Flows Realized which lists (as expected) the information flows emitted by the actor on the essential use case.  

 When I check the box for the information flow I want realised nothing seems to get done.  Is this expected?  I'd hoped that the message would be named as the flow shown on the essential use case.  After leaving the advanced properties and the going back the selected check box is unchecked.  

 Additionally, if the message is created but the response has not been created, the message gets moved to the end of the sequence even though its been numbered as 1.0.  If a return message is created, this behaviour stops.  Is this a bug?
