final document : Portrate or Landscape ?

Hello,
After some tests and it looks like the best format to print diagrams is landscape but for the rest (scenarios use case ...) Portrate fits better.
I've not found anyway to mix the 2 formats in the same document and I plan to give two files to my customers : one just for diagrams and an other one for the rest.
So, when it's time to communicate the final documents to users, what is the best practice to be used ?
