EA 6.1 and Oracle

I have the EA 6.1 (Corporate Edition) and I want to know if an Oracle 10g R2 database could be use as repository

I've looked for this in this site, buy I've only found the system requirements for EA 6.5

Some time ago I was successful with Oracle 10g Express.

I did not test exhaustively, but given that EA does not use any 'esoteric' features of Oracle it should work.

There was an issue with EA and Oracle disagreeing on handling one numeric format, but that was cleared up some time ago (perhaps even before EA 6.5).
