RTF Export Design
« on: April 25, 2007, 10:58:36 pm »
Hi,
I still have a problem with the RTF Export:
I choosed the contents  I need in my TRF Template.
But when I generate the RTF file, the design is very ugly often. For example the name of a Component is at the bottom of a page, and the details like
Type:Component
Status:Proposed
Package:Components

are at the top of the follwing page. Is there a possibility to tell the Exporter, that the name and the details belong together, so he should post both on the following page (no splitting!)?

I have a main MS Word document with few of generated linked RTF  documents. In my RTF templates I have declared styles (just names, not the formatting) and in my Word I have the same names of Styles. The styles apply for the content of the RTFs as well.
Just declare that your {Element.Name} style is "Keep with next".

(I also declared a Styles template in RTF generator with the styles declaration and use this template for all my RTF templates.)

Sorry, I didn't understand that.
What do you mean with "Keep with next"?

Is there a good tutorial?

Hi Bary,

Can you explain more clearly what this means?

Thanks,
