Template editor, remove protected text
« on: May 30, 2007, 12:05:44 am »
I iserted into my template section "Package\Element\Model Document" selected it and moved it (by mouse) to other part of template.
As a result I got two sections.
One of it I can remove by unchecking section "Package\Element\Model Document".

How can I remove other one (EA gives message "This selection contains protected text")?

Firstly, if you aren't running EA 6.5 build 806 (or EA 7.0 beta 1) then I would recommend upgrading to the latest build (one of the above) to see if that fixes the problem.  If it doesn't then I would suggest submitting a bug report.

Yes, that happens in all 6.5 builds.

You can't move the tags inserted by the RTF editor after selecting a section.

If you do that, it breaks the connection between the protected tags and the section selector. Then, the only way to remove the tags is creating a new template.

Regards.
