Association actor - package
« on: June 18, 2007, 10:13:47 am »

Hello

I want join an actor and a package in a use case diagram. The only types of connection I can make are
- Dependency
- Trace
- Information flow
I would make a connection of type "Associate"... If I make a connection of type "Trace" and I try to change to "Associate", I obtain a "The request type would not be UML compliant" response... How can I disable this constraint?
I have tried to change Project / Model Validation / Configure but this seems not to make any action over my diagram...  :-/

Thanks in advance

Try disable Options/Diagram/Strict UML Syntax

Strict UML Syntax - Enforces when adding new connectors and other structures

Hi zalmoxis,

I'd do it that way: take any link that looks the way you like and write "Associate" in the stereotype textbox of its property dialog.
