Code Generation and Reverse Engineering
« on: June 22, 2007, 03:53:19 am »
Hi,

I have reverse engineered an existing project into the EA Model, with the folders as new packages. Now i have created a new package and then created a new class in the Package.

questions:

1) now i am trying to generate the code, but i don't get the Contextmenu option for that - I am using the Enterprise Architect 7.0 beta version. is that because its a beta version? or there is some other problem?

2) Now i have seen in the online documentation that it generates the file in the root folder. Can we like create the File into a folder (like the package) in the project?

thanks in advance

regards
Aravind.

From the diagram with the class in place does the menu Project | Source Code Engineering | Generate Package Source still work?

How about Ctrl+Alt+K

I'm on ea 6.1
