Rendering issue under Linux/cxoffice?
« on: August 08, 2007, 03:53:54 am »
I've got version 7.0 running under cxoffice 6.01. When I open an Activity Diagram, the Process elements don't show their title text. I've also got 6.5 in a separate bottle, and it shows them just fine.

Any ideas?

Switch bottles?  ;)

An a more serious note, this could be some new incompatibility, or perhaps a new minimum version of Crossover Office is required.

I suggest you report this to Sparx directly. You can do this via the Report a Bug link under the Support heading at the bottom of any forum page.

Please let us know what Sparx has to say about this, or any other solution you find.

Yeah, I've tried installing into multiple different bottles, including the one I run Office 2003 in (I know, bad idea, but I was troubleshooting at that point), and of course a standalone bottle for just this app. I've also played with the Windows API version presented to the app via the Wincfg settings, no joy.

I thought I was reporting via this forum but I'll repost in the bug area as well. Thanks for the pointer.

That can be a bit confusing at first. This is a user forum. But the community is very active, and the Sparxians participate as well.
