Can we group tagged values?

Can we have groupings for tagged values?
For ex., tagA and tagB are grouped under XX, and another tagA and tagB are grouped under YY. Is it possible?

I've worked around this problem in the past with naming convention. So for your example, the tags would be named "XX.tagA", "XX.tagB", "YY.tagA" and "YY.tagB"...
