Modifying existing elements with transformations
« on: September 24, 2007, 03:45:10 am »
Hi all.

I have generated a class diagram with a MDA transformation. I would like to apply a second transformation to this class diagram to add methods to one of the generated classes (i.e. NOT generate a new diagram).

Does anyone know if/how this can be done?

Thanks

Thomas

Something like this came up in the forum quite some time ago.

As I remember it - I could easily be off base, so do a search to find the actual information - scripts cannot call each other in the way you want. However, there was a workaround that seemed to handle cases such as yours.

Do the search. Unfortunately I don't remember any of the wording, so cannot give you a list of promising keywords.

No, you can't have it!
