WSDL Message Generation

We are using the WSDL design component here at Comcast and I am noticing an odd behavior. If we generate a default project and start adding messages, these new messages do not show up when generating the WSDL. Anyone have any guidance? Literally, we are generating the basic skeleton project, adding a message and generating the WSDL. No new message type shows up.
