How do i design from visio 2003 for .NET 2.0?
« on: November 02, 2007, 11:56:04 am »
Hi there,

How do i upgrade my MS visio2003 pro to draw UML for .NET framework 2.0 data structures? How much does the upgrade cost? Are there any for free?

Do i have to buy a newer version of visio?

cheers

You should probably direct these questions to Microsoft.
No, you can't have it!

Indeed, it would be much better to upgrade your Visio to EA!

And you could port your earlier work into EA via the Visio importer.

You might even get a copy of the MDG Integration tool for Visual Studio 2005, then model with that.

Total price would likely be similar to the upgrade, but...

Next time you needed to upgrade you'd be way ahead on price, given the difference in Microsoft and Sparx license costs and policies.
