Does Enterprise Architect run under Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit on a INTEL Core 2 Quad?

PS: I know that EA runs under Windows Vista 32 Bit. I am in the situation that I get a new Quad computer with Ultimate 64 bit. Do I have a chance to let EA run on such a platform?

You can try with the free trial version. It is identically to the other versions - just limited by a software key.

can I have a question, do you use EA on vista 64bit or no? Is there really any problem?
I have this problem too, because I have got new PC with Vista  Ultimate 64bit (dual core AMD X2 64b 5000+) and I need to know, if EA will work (eventually with which problem will work).
Please excuse my poor english

I have not tried this myself, but I expect EA will run in 32-bit compatibility mode. I do not think it will run as a 64-bit native application.

In a standard configuration this should not be a major issue.

I suggest you try the evaluation program. If you don't want to do that, download and try the EA viewer (EA Lite). The viewer uses the same code as EA, so any results you get will be the same with EA. [This way you won't start the clock ticking on an evaluation until you are ready.

thx for all the answers. In the meantime, I have bought a INTEL Core 2 Quad 6600 Computer with Windows Vista Premium 32-Bit because at the moment EA is only available for the 32-Bit platform. So, I have no problems and EA runs very fine. Happy new year, HQ
