Location of add-in menus

Hello,

I'm writing an Add-in that adds some menus to EA. My menu currently appears only underneath the "Add-ins" menu (whether in the main view or the treeview).
Is it possible to have add-in menus appear somewhere else, in order to minimize the user navigation in the menus?

And by the way, is it possible to add icons to add-in menus?

No and no.

Not good news I agree. The first request - location of add-in menus - has been made a few times. My guess is that the current EA menu engine makes this a major issue, so Sparx has been reluctant to make the change.

I don't know if menu adornments - including icons - have been requested in this context of add-in menus. This would make an excellent feature request. You'll find the necessary form by clicking the appropriate link near the bottom of any forum page.
