HTML report  - view problems
« on: May 14, 2008, 08:02:08 am »
I created some BPMN and activity diagrams using EA build 829 on Win2000.
The HTML report was completed successfuly, however when tried to view it the following text appears in the opening page (index)
"An error occured while loading data files, please confirm that all files have been generated and are intact."

Could you please help

How are you trying "view" the report?

If you are using IE, what privacy and file access settings do you have? [There were some early issues with IE 7 and HTML reports. I doubt they are still there, but after a new EA version these things might resurface.]

No, you can't have it!

David,
I tried to change IE settings but it did not help, however I got displayToc.js file from Sparx support that has resolved this issue.

Thanks

Hopefully Sparx will include the file in the next build of EA.

In the meantime it might be nice if Sparx could publish the file somewhere. I think I've seen another post in the past few hours that looks like the same issue.

Support said that the bug will be fixed in the EA build 831 (the next one will be 830)

Thanks for doing the leg work on this Miso,

About 5-6 weeks most likely, which is not too bad. Hopefully that's within the horizon of your tolerance for waiting.
